Is something wrong with my Louie?

I know igs don't keep their bright colors into adulthood, but I was just concerned about my iguana, Louie. (Like a good mommy should be.) His belly is a nice light greenish/blue, but the rest of him is a rather nasty green-brown. He is about 3 years old, is it time for the hues of childhood to disappear? I just wanted to make sure he wasn't sick-he is eating good and active....he escaped yesterday and taunted the cat from atop the curtains.=)
