Thanks for the update! If he can continue to keep food down, that's half the battle. Did vet have any idea why raising the temps would bring on the shakes? That is still soooo odd to me. As you know from Mel, when a reptile is having problems the normal recommendation is to actually raise the normal temp range up a couple of notches. But what you said last night about the temp. change activating the parasites makes sense in a weird, watch-alot-of-sci-fi sort of way *grin*
That thing with Mel...think it's Giardia (altho that still looks strange; but I know how to pronounce it *grin*) And I know you can get it from a dog. My friend's son got it after kissing on her sister's dog who had it. If you guys start running to the toilet as if you've eaten a box of Ex-lax, I'd get checked :o) Might want to run this by your pediatrician, too. The last thing you want is to somehow get the baby sick with it. Sorry to be such a worry wart about things.....but I'm a mom and you know we can't help it!
Sydney will remain in our prayers and thoughts. Tuesday night was a good night for him to pull this....chat night! That is if he had to get sick, you know what I mean! It sure is nice to have something like that, this forum and mail in times of crisis or near crisis.
Keep us posted!
