The first one is the worst. (for you, anyway, he may become more agressive as he matures) But, yes, he will pretty much return to what he was before season, and you'll learn to cope. Be aware that breeding season can last for some time. Bug starts in mid September, and isn't completely recovered until early December. Just be careful, and respect his body language. Outdoor sunning during this time will cause heightened breeding season reactions. If it's obvious that he's upset, leave him alone. I ignored this advice from Bug last year, and my left thumb is still not quite recovered from the bite. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
