Breeding Season HELP!

My male iguana is going thru his first breeding season (I think, as he has all the signs of bright orange, aggressive, head bobbing etc). I am concerned if he will go back to his "normal" self without too much taming and retraining. Also, he lunges at me, so I don't let him out of his habitat. I NEED some experience iquana owners to help out with suggestions, ideas, and sympathy!!! Thanks.
