Ig in need of help PLEASE read

On my Vacation to Ocean City N.J I went to the local pet shop and was not surprised to find many reptiles in bad shape, but the one that absolutely
broke my heart was an adult female iguana who was in a small cage with a
light and a hot rock, she had NO basking spot the ambient temp in the cage
was about 75. This Ig seemed determined to escape the pet store! She was
missing many toes from trying to claw her way out of her screen prison, she
also had a nasty looking burn on the top of her head from trying to get to
the heat lamp that she had access to. I inquired about the Ig to the owner
of the store, she said she didn't know if she wanted to sell her or not, So
I went in every day to visit the poor ig I think she got to know me and I
fell in love with her. on the fourth day I asked the woman if she knew what
she was going to with the Ig as I did every day I was in. She told me that
she would SELL me the Ig for $100, and she would not budge on the price, I
am 16 I can't go around spending $100 that I don't have I had $40 and I
offered it to her and she refused. I figured if I could not have it maybe I
could at least get her to give the poor thing proper care, but she argued
with me about everything, the hot rocks, the ig having access to the light
bulb, the screen that was ripping off her toes, even the mound of shit that
was in the cage growing mold since I first entered the store. Among other
things she had a Red Tail boa that was constantly soaking, I sight of a
upcoming shed or possibly mites, the boas cage was only 80 with no basking
spot, it looked as if the boa may have had IBD he was ALWAYS "star gazing"
I was so upset about the Ig that I could not help I packed up and left my
vacation early.
If ANYONE is around the south Jersey/Ocean City area please I BEG of you to
go get this IG The pet store is on 810 Asbury Ave.
