Actually, citric acid can and will irritate the stomach and bowels of some iguanas, just as they do some people. More often than stomach problems, however, is that the acidic juices from a citris fruit will irritate the delicate tissues of the mouth. Not to say, "Don't feed oranges!", just to say, keep an eye on your iguana to see how they react to the oranges. No biggie, just thought I'd mention that sometimes irritations can oocur in iguanas from an over-abundance of fruits high in citric acid.
