I think MK is talking about ascorbic acid (Vit C) when talking about citrus fruits & tomatoes ....there are several other acids that tomatoes contain like chlorogenic & p-coumaric acid but I don't know how those acids affect stomachs of igs.. May very well be irritants. Citrus fruits are alkaline forming...got that...but can't find a thing on the ph/ action absorption of tomatoes.Spent my whole lunch break last night trying to find something on it...nothing. Vit C is water soluble so I think its doubtful that it would be an irritant to the stomach (highly acidic) lining. I *WILL NOT* lmao pull out the chemistry book at work for this!! lmao...so go ahead bring on those lightning bolts!! lol
