Basically, since I posted her initial thoughts I felt I should also post her follow up because she said in her second one to use for older igs.
Strangely enough I had some thoughts along the same line as you when the talk (other posts by others too) was about evolved food. I have NO IDEA what is NATIVE to an iguana. I would guess that it would be bananas based on my youthful enjoyment of Johnny Weismuller films (figure it out youngters!)during Saturday mornings on TV. Can't say what was growing on those vines or what kind of trees those were....but I don't think they were mustard greens :o)
I asked once a while back what were native foods and was basically told that it wasn't financially beneficial to commercial pet food companies to grow them and sell them. Still wish I knew what some were...perhaps I could plant some of them and see how long it takes me to kill them LOL
