I've dealt with this situation for years, doing everything from setting compound fractures (roomies' dog hit by car) to delivering a breech foal and reapiring the resu;ting uterine prolapse (unfortunately, the faol was already gone when we started working, but mom is doing fine 2 years later)
If I know what it is, I can work from there, but
it looks like this is something that needs lab and or xrays to diagnose.
Does anyone know how to reach a vet that might consult with the one here by phone? I've been given a couple names, but no contact points.
