Lil Montana has surprised me quite a bit by not running from my hand and barely even caring All the igs i have had before haven't been to fond of me so to speak!! lol I was a kid ok? But when i move lil Montana s/he doesnt seem to care at all and seems to enjoy being in my hand and once i get my finger between those eyes s/he is in heaven I am still a bit concerned because s/he doesnt move at all all day s/he has prolly only moved an inch or two if that
: it sounds like pretty normal behavior!
: it's very stressful for an ig to find itself in a strange new environment ~ even when it is a great improvement over where it's been! it's still new + very scary to little Montana and s/he just needs some time to adjust is all ... well, and LOTS of tender loving care as well! *grin*
: pooping is a VERY good sign that things are probably *not* as bad as you fear! i have a feeling Montana's appetite will pick up within the week + you'll soon be writing how amazed you are that this little bitty iglet can eat so much!!! but for now, just the fact that even a little bit of food is going in (and coming out!) is a good sign ... spray the salad with warm water before you put it in the enclosure and that will help get Montana plenty of moisture ...
: oh i just thought of something else that may help ... put a t-shirt that you've been wearing in the enclosure ~ maybe for a bed sorta thing or for Montana to crawl under ~ it may help Montana get used to your smell + so help learn that you're "ok" ...
: good luck + keep us posted!!!
: Bon. + iZ
