Like Harry, could this iguana be in breeding mode?
I would suggest that if he's still this bad by Monday (and I'm sure he will be) and he doesn't appear to have anything life threatening, give him a week or so to "calm down". Keep in mind he was removed from his original home, placed in a new home and then into your home within days. Sheesh, that would stress anything out.

Good luck and we'll let you know when we can pass the title down to you. LOL
