Cindy...owie is the wound deep? crusted discolored? Maybe try Betadine (povidine-iodine generic) wash his nose off real good with diluted betadine try to get as much dead stuff off as possible. Then put betadine on it every other day...healing and drying....try this for a week..and if no improvement sounds like a trip to the vet is in order...may need some antibiotics.
