Kind of sounds like what Harry went through when we first got him. He rubbed his nose down to what we thought at the time was bone. It was bloody, he rubbed almost one of his three nose horns off. It has healed, but he looks like he lacks scales on his nose now. The end of his nose is soft and scaless. I put oinment on his nose during the healing process (at night with a q-tip). When in doubt, you might want to run her by your vet.
