how can I convince a petstore to quit selling igs?

Small local one. They know me a little, and I might get a job there this upcoming summer, or maybe even during the school year, depending on grades. If I get a job there it will be easy, since at least one of them respects my opinons. However, if I don't get the job, it will be harder.
I could do it givien time, for sure, but I want to do it quick.
If I do get the job there, I'll trey to talk them into selling mostly small snakes and geckos.
