My friend dosen't know for sure how old her ig is but I'm guessing about 4 or 5. I know the ig was missing some spikes and part of her tail when she got her. The vet preformed surgery so I pretty sure that it is a female, I have looked at her leg pores and they are pretty small compared to my ig. My friend has had her for a year and I know she feeds her good because I'm the one trained her in iguana care. She stays in her cage almost all the time and when she is out she either held of highly supervized. One other think that bothers me is that we know that the ig is female and she has shown no signs of wanting to lay eggs yet. I've been preping my friend on getting ready for it. I'm not sure what all the vet said because we haven't had much time to talk about it. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a sign of or some thing that could cause a serious illness. I was also concerned that she may need a special diet to help her digestive system to heal. Just being able to help reasure her that her ig will be ok would mean a lot.
Thanks ^^^Samantha^^^^
