Our voice will be heard only with numbers, the politicians only count votes & if there aren't enough upset 'voters' than they could care less.
Also the movement thus far has been for a grandfather clause, I thnik this is too shortsighted. The law itself is WRONG & should be wiped off of the books.
By just accepting a Grandfather clause we are allowing the government to tell us what we can & can't do in the privacy of our homes. That is a scary thought
considering the different choices & lives that we all lead. When the Gov't can tell you what is right & wrong we no longer live in a free society.

: It'll depend upon the level & numbers of ownership...whether someone views an ig as a disposable pet or as a chersihed family member. I really have no answer for that question.
: However, a grandfather clause would be great to instate..or if not just simply that, as the DOH's concerns about the igs being a health risk to the public (salmonella, bites, wotever...), instate a licensing program.
: Anyhows...over on the NYAnimals list, we're trying to pool our thots and efforts together to help the NYC peeps.
: We could really use some legal help too!
