I keep my bearded dragons (will I be shot for mentioning them in this forum?) on alfalfa pellets (rabbit food) I found it so convenient that I started keeping my iguana, Beavis (don't laugh, she's a girl and was named by my little brother when we thought she was a he) on it. She kicks it around and snuggles down into it in the back of her cage since it holds heat so well. She absolutely loves it but I have some concerns...she's eating it instead of her greens that she ate before...she used to love her different greens...but now I think she's eating the pellets...I know that they won't bind her or anything and they are made from veggies and have vitamin supplements, but does anyone know if she can survive on eating these alone? There was nothing wrong with the reptile carpeting that we kept her on...we just thought we'd try the alfalfa...
anyone have opinions??
