Iggygirl....I wouldn't waste my money or time on getting another UVB tube....uvb has NOTHING to do with your ig pooping...I posted before several reasons why your ig may just prefer pooping outside his tank....excercise....a higher fiber diet,better hydration....baths...sure fire ways to get him to poop.
Re-read the posts to you. It IS NOT natural nor is it healthy for your ig to poop every 2-3 weeks.
UVB lamp exposure is no where NEAR the uvb output of the sun...just enough to ward off symptoms of MBD by synthesizing Vitamin D3 needed for calcium absorption for 6 months at a time if not exposed the natural sunlight that's it! So save yer money your ig just needs more of your time!
