Scars and shedding....

Our Fondue is literally criss crossed with scars on his belly, inner arms, under tail, and inside of legs. Everytime he sheds, we really need to keep at the shed to make sure it all comes away. Daily Baths are a must!!! if you really have a problem with the shed coming off, you can try some mineral oil rubbed on the area, or a warm wet washcloth rubbed on the area. I've also heard around this forum that K-Y Jelly is good as well, because it's water soluable, but I personally have no experience. You might want to ask around here if you want info on that. Good luck with the vet, and let us know how much blood you lose while you're there! Grin!
