You say she has MBD....(dragging legs) but you make no mention if she has 12 hour daily exposure to artificial uvb lighting, or daily exposure to natural sunlight. What are the temps of the tank...if inadequate she cannot digest her food. Warm water soaks several times a day at 86 degrees if it isn't warm it will not work, massage her tummy mid gut towards vent. Increase the fiber in her food. Add DSS (drug store) to her food get one cap and prick open and put contents on something she really loves piece of banana, teaspoon of rasberry flavored yogurt, water soaked wheat bread. Dehydration is another reason why she's constipated NOT only because she is not getting any excercise. Spray her salad liberally with water, add watermelon pieces or valencia oranges better yet, for more water in her diet. because the MBD has caused her to stop moving (slowing her metabolism means she will conserve calcium being pulled from her bones)constipation is going to be an ongoing thing. Get her out in the sun as much as possible supervised or in a secured wire cage or pen)...up the temps in her tank....and daily baths...Take a good look at her diet...visit this site for ideas on calcium rich foods (link at the bottom)under Info and Care links...its gonna be updated soon with more food ideas..... up the fiber (squashes like acorm or butternut cut & wet pieces of alfalfa or timothy hay)and cross your fingers like Ive got mine!
Good luck to ya Joe
Gina
