Actually, the dandelion greens you buy in the grocery
store are not the same as you find in your yard.
While non-sprayed yard dandelions can be fed to
iguanas, they're not the same as the store bought
kind (which I think are commonly called Italian or
Gourmet Dandelion). The store-bought kind have
much larger leaves.
I seldom find dandelion greens at my standard grocery
store, so I go to special health food markets for
these greens. Some people also buy seeds and grow
their own. (Imagine the stares from the neighbors after
hearing the answer to the question, "What are you planting?"
