His sleep may not *seem* affected, but it is, and it will cause problems. Turn the uv light off at night. :)

: : The people who had him before - we just found this out - had a Hot Rock in his tank. The skin on his belly shows a brownish discoloration. I thought at first that it was merely un-shed skin, but after several, weekly soakings it shows no sign of coming loose.

: : Question: Was this a burn from the Hot Rock? It doesn't look anything like scar tissue. Could it be natural coloration? The area extends from the vent to about half way up the belly.
