There is no difference in the iguanas but skin color. Iguanas from different parts of the world tend to have different colors.
Pellets are not a good diet choice at all. Iguanas need fresh veggies and variety to live a healthy life.
I urge you to adopt a iguana in need rather than buy one from anywhere. There are so many that need homes. Not to mention the fact that when you adopt you can normally find a boy or girl rather than not knowing because the iguana you buy will be to young for a year or so.
Also when you adopt you can get a tame adult, not a rowdy, scared, crazy baby that will take time everyday for 6+ months to get tame.
Adult iguanas are a great choice, and adopting one is even better. There are iguana rescues everywhere.
