We too tried leashes make for iguanas. Sammy was was so insulted, so bit my husband. We have bought another one that goes around the front legs and can be locked with a little slack on the upper body. We will try this next weekend. The leash that goes around the neck will upset the Ig because the dewlap is a protected spot. Most Igs do not like leashes. We built an outdoor cage, so Sammy could get all the sun she wants.
