I have a tendancy to get neurotic in advance about things, but knowing that folks on this forum have had babies and still felt comfortable owning reptiles makes me feel better...I remember when I had allergy problems my allergist tried to convince me to give up my dogs and cats (NO way that was going to happen!) and likewise I don't want to have to choose between my herps (Zen and 2 snakes) and having a child either.
I'm thinking that cage duty for all the herps will end up being the hubby's job, though, and feeding too (I wonder how well feeding the snakes is going to go over...)
And yes, Iguanamomma, I'll take your advice and milk it for all it's worth!! (In fact, I've already used the 'planning' stage of it to justify a health club membership :)
Thanks everyone; if my practicing pays off I'll keep you 'posted'!
