Foot long from nose to tail tip? My ig Sneakers a while back started getting black spots on her head. They seemed to multipy in front of my eyes. I got a magnifying glass and took a close look. It was the scale and not mites. These were flat black scales, not fuzzy or raised. It turned out that she was just changing color. All those black spots have now turned into gray blotches on her head.

Are the spots raised or feel fuzzy? Are they smooth to the touch?
