Well...if worse comes to worse Kermit will get his own room. I can't tolerate this. Piggy is doing fine, the wounds seem to have closed up. I still think she may loose a spike though and that makes me sick! Would I have to separate them permanently or just during mating season, ya think? I'm afraid if I separate them permanently it will be real bad if Kermit sees her. He got ahold me me once trying to get to her just because I took both of them outside together. It was HIS yard...not hers and he sent me to the ER for stitches. He's a mean little monster when he wants to be! But most of the time he is so sweet, so docile and just loves to be pet. I gotta tell ya...I'm getting a little bit afraid of him but I'm sure not gonna let him know about it!

: Hope Miss Piggy is okay! Yes, sounds like you'll have to separate them. I've heard real horror stories of the damage they can inflict on each other....believe it or not, she was lucky!
: I've also heard the stories of docile males turning at around age 5. I'm hoping that won't be true of our Thunder who is 4 now.
: Bet that was no fun to come home to!
