Lizzy is very smart. She too, is tub trained. I'll put her in the tub every morning. She loves to swim a while. Then she poops and immediately wants out of the dirty water. She can climb out by herself. She will sit in the tub until she poops. It may be 3 min. or 30 min. She also loves me better than my husband or boys. She will not poop for them. She will not eat for them. She free roams. When she gets lonesome for me, she climbs up onto my bed and crawls under my pillow. I guess they have a good sense of smell too. She's protective of me also. I laid down one day with a headache. She climbed onto the bed and walked circles around me until I got up. She will not leave me if we have company. I left the room one time when we had company. She chased me down the hall! I'll say they're smart! I love my Lizzy!
