We recently looked at a site from a herp society in MN. I'm not sure how old the info is, but they mentioned how over run they were by calls for unwanted iguanas. CALL THEM! They can use all the help they can get and you would be saving an iguana. If I were you, I would offer to drive HALF WAY to the twin cities to pick the iguana up. I agree that 6 hours is a long drive, but look what you would be getting in return.
