saw a gorgeous iguana today...

Was driving hubby to cardiac rehab and just happened to glance over to the right - there was a gorgeous 4 foot ig sitting on a deck with a big lizard type smile on his face. He was nice and fat, and obviously not from around here. He must belong to one of the many "terrorists"(local for tourist) that're in town right now. After I left the hospital I stopped and looked at him from the street, and he is really something. It sure is nice to see someone doing the RIGHT stuff with their pet for once.

Next week is my 35th birthday, and I'm wondering if hubby would be willing to let me have a bearded dragon shipped in to join my menagerie......anyone know a breeder with healthy ones? Internet herp shopping is something I've been too chicken to do until now, it's just too easy to get ripped off. I'm also still reserving room for another rescue iggy too, but so far none in driving distance. Anyway, back to subject: If I see anyone out with that iguana later, I'll just have to casually stop and see it up close.
