Hmmm......checked Maders...only other mention of possible injury resulting in tail rot was cagemate bite. Wow...that sure was alot of tail that needed to go. I bet she is feeling so much better...braveheart. No more infection! perhaps it was going systemic...up into the spine and tissue...I have no idea...but the Baytril should indeed help get her on the right track! Lots of water sprayed greens! As a/bs are tuff on kidneys...especially if the first dose was injected into her thigh muscule.
