Oh goodie I get to use my new found knowledge from Hatfield's book. He says that beans, peas, alfalfa, kale, collard greens, dandelion greens, mustard greens, parsley, spinach, sprouts, and turnip greens all contain significant amounts of protein.
You can feed monkey biscuit, tofu, commercial ig food, low-fat meat free dog food once every 3 to 6 weeks. That would be one monkey biscuit or one chunk of tofu, or one portion of the others.
One thing I found interesting was feeding Cream of Wheat. He mentions that it contains some protein. He makes a serving and freezes it in an ice cube tray. He said that it could be fed once or twice a week in a small portions. To much and his ig wouldn't eat it.
