I would recommend you keep up the good work. It sounds like he is ready to make wild jungle love. Our male will only take a little food every few weeks when he feels the urge, however, he does drink quite a bit of water and I don't mean tounge dabbing the stuff, we are talking about head dunking slurping the H2O. His bright orange color tells me he's looking for love. The sunlight is a good idea, but beware. It will trigger the mounting responce quicker than candles and Sinatra. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

p.s. expect him to loose considerable weight during this period.
