Our vet recommends and sells alot of Rep-Cal Iguana food. It does not need supplementation and is guaranteed by the vet and Rep-Cal. We have been using that as a primary diet and supplementing with the veggies. Our Iggy came back to fighting and bitting weight in three weeks after not eating for a month and laying 50 eggs. I feel the stuff is worth a try AFTER you get it eating at least every other day, minimum.
They also make an excellent BD food. They both come in juvie and adult formula. Also, I would seriously consider keeping them housed sepperate. I think that orange you hoping for only happens during breeding season. Some Iggy's are more orange than others but there is more to it than
keeping them in pairs. Good Luck at the vets!
Also, if you can get him out in the sun for about a half hour a day, that would be a big help!
