heheh yeah they dont count what you bring in... believe me they count... they open bags they photograph.... it is no fun once i brought in a shipment from suriname and they were training a field agent who had not seen many of the animals i had... they had me open EVERY bag... took tons of pics and took their sweet time about letting me get out of their... I dunno what you are importing or in what numbers... or even at what port but you bring in stuff to miami and you are gonna get checked out especially if its a south american shipment. large numbers of iguanas that come in alot of times do not get counted... as you stated... but do it enough and in enough numbers... they will pick a day and count your entire shipment... or... even more fun... get a conditional release...
Why would USFW import iguanas????
the numbers of iguanas imported and their departure airport and there destination air port is all available free under the Freedom of information Act.
and if you know some exporters in peru who can ship me more than 1000 when thats what i order gimme their number....
