true you can use spray bottles or a humidifier but to maintain high humidity like that you have to contain the air. kinda like a closed system. otherwise your ig can go from wet to hot and dry 3 times a day... mow your lawn on a humid summer day then go inside when your air conditioner is running like crazy... the air is so dry it can give you a headache...and we can maintain a steady body temp....
also... if you live in the city check your water if you decide to do the misting thing... some city water is given additives at the water treatment plants... ususally no big deal but some water treatment facilities may add chlorine to the water... not bad for people but for little igs getting drenched you never know... same goes for bathing your ig... just call your county or city water treatment facility and ask.
ive seen city water kill frogs....
if you have a well you probably dont have anything to worry about....
you can always buy a small brita water thingy at wal-mart ... they are cheap about 15 bucks...
