Ok, I was thinking about this earlier today and after seeing you (Xta) post to this and knowing that you are the self proclaimed worrywart of the bunch (but we luv ya anyway ;)~ ) I'm thinking you either know the answer to this or will tell me where to find it ....
Recently Mr D and I adopted what we think is a Jack Russel Terrier puppy from the pound. We brought him home last week and his first appointment with our vet is this week. The vet at the pound is, IMHO kinda an id*t because he claims the dog is a beagle and Jack (the dog) looks nothing like a beagle but looks just like other JRTs we have seen. Anyway... that's why I never bothered to ask their vet this question.
On the subject of fleas and ticks .... I know there is some controversy over certain methods of flea and tick prevention when it comes to humans (resedues left behind, etc). Is there anything we should be taking into consideration re: doggie flea and tick prevention, when it comes to the safety of the iguanas? Are their certain flea and tick preventions that we should stay away from?
BTW... before anyone gets uptight, no one free roams together, the dog is crated when we go out if we can't take him with us and because I work from home their is constant supervision at all times. We know the possible risks of having a JRT and have taken and will continue to take all the necessary precautions when it comes to everyone's safety.
