Sent ZooMed an e-mail. Blah, Blah, Blah.... However, in mine I did mention that WE do purchase their products. Also mentioned that if they continue to sell/promote hot/heat rocks, that not only would we cease to buy the products, but we would encourage the herp societies we are members of, we would pass the word around the reptile rescue group where we volunteer, and finally, we would encourage our "circle" of far reaching and ever growing internet friends/contacts (including message boards, etc.)not to purchase ANY products. Mentioned that several members of herp society are also pet shop owners. Basically, without using these exact words..."We'd put the squeeze on them". We wouldn't purchase ANY of their products. Period. Of course, whenever addressing a problem, one should always suggest a solution. Mine was they would do more good in the promotion of using the correct UVB lights and proprer heat sources (bulbs and ceramic heater bulbs). We shall see.
