Just letting everyone know not to use bleach on any metal portion of their cage. Bleach is an oxidizer and is corrosive to metal. I am going to change to bleach for the bottom of Sneakers cage, but it is linoleum. Has anyone ever used iodine as a disinfectant for the metal portions of their cage. We use iodine on all our stainless steel and glass we use in homebrewing beer. It disinfects and is easy to rinse off. You just couldn't use it on anything else as it would stain it orange. Just a thought.
