It's a light bulb is all. The main thing to watch out for is what kind of heat the bulb you installed puts out. Just my opinion, I'd go with a ceramic heater instead but that's just my opinion. They last alot longer then a bulb does and they can be used at night too. If you are suppling the 5.0 UVB lighting and have a heat source.....there's really no need for the other light.
