Thank you for your post, as always you provide a wealth of useful info. But just for the record I am using a Combo light which accommodates 3 light switches. I use the double fixture with two bulbs for daytime , it also has a flourescent fixture which has Reptisu 5.0 flo-bulb and the last fixture is set up for night time with a blue night(reptile) bulb. Only one bulb in the double fixture is a regular bulb.
All of these lights are timers.
