maybe try leavin' 'em for a couple more days??? if they're truly ready, they *should* slip off easily without being soaked ... tho daily soaking DOES help!! i don't mean to imply that it doesn't, just that if the spikes aren't deformed to begin with, maybe they just need an extra day or 3 ...

iZ has a terrible, AWFUL time with shedding, especially spikes ~ seems to be related to rotten kidneys ... along with soaking every nite ~ some aloe on them afterwards can help, gently rub it on with kind of a rolling motion between thumb + forefinger + that can help loosen 'em up a bit too ... sometimes, the base of the spike shed is ready and the top ISN'T ~ verrrrrrry carefully snipping a slit in the shed helps prevent it from constricting the entire spike until the top of the shed catches up ... be REALLY careful doing that + only do ti if you KNOW your ig is gonna be still!

good luck!
Bon. + iZ
