How unfortunate. That is an excellent example of how misrepresented hybrids can degrade captive "pure" populations
and cause distrust in the hobby and waning interest in an awesome snake.
Even honest hybrid breeders who accurately represent their offspring really have no control of what happens once their snakes are sold and end up in the hands of others. Hybrids are misrepresented on the Kingsnake classifieds on almost a daily basis. I think that's what causes a lot of the so called "pro-hybrid / anti-hybrid" resentment.
