It has nothing to do with my point, and the amount of snakes I have doesn't either, but, in your words, "I realize you are trying to appear knowledgable, but making informative-sounding posts when you know little to nothing about the subject matter does not accomplish that goal."
I know you don't mean to sound rude, but you could do a lot more to accomplish that goal by asking instead of accusing.
