I have had snakes eat each other...and hognose will even sometimes try to eat themselves!(biting down on the tail and keep on swallowing). In the case of the non feeding hogs, try killing the toads in a quick painless way, freezing them, dethawing them, cutting open the stomach cavtiy, and smearing the internal organs all over the mice. It is gross...but I have had it work. I have had easterns that took mice...Just takes some work. Keep in mind scenting can mean scenting by rubbing on a toad, scenting in toad urine, or scenting with toad intestines. Andy
