I wouldn't mind hearing a more detailed explaination of how to go about crossing kings and corns as well. In my case, I have a male corn and a female kingsnake. Anyway, it'd be nice to know some of the safety issues involved in such an operation (as in, how to prevent the male corn from getting eaten) along with the mechanics of the process. I have female corns I can use to get the male in the mood, but no male cal kings to use for the female. If the male is excited (after contact with a female corn without being allowed to mate) is it enough to just put him in the cage with the cal king, or do I actually have to manually line up the vents between the two? Do I need to restrain the female cal king during the process? Information on stuff like that would be very helpful. :)
