That is so untrue. The U.S. only regulates endangered species. It is up to the states and counties to make up their own laws on all other animals. Not saying that your state alows it, but it cerntily is not the regulated for everyone. Otherwise, corn snakes and many other species of reptiles would be off limits. Tell me how many corn snake you see at a pet store :)
