As a herper, I do see the humor in having a c-section performed on the rat. Like I stated in my response, I wouldn't have paid for it!
As a pet owner, I find this post offensive- only because it was posted by a vet staff member. If snakeguy88 (don't mean to pick on you, snakeguy!) would have posted this, it wouldn't have bothered me. I suppose it's all in context.
No, my post was not meant to be confrontational; heck, I don't even KNOW you. All I was saying was 1) shows responsible pet keeping and 2)our pet care givers should show a bit more compassion.
:for not meaning to come off as confrontational you do a good job at it. remember that this was posted at a humor site at that just what this was a funny story. forgive me if i thought that herpers would see humor in a c-section on a rat.
