...breed, feed, collect, incubate, and hatch, then worry about where to put the babies. WC HLs do not readily breed for most people in captivity. All requirements must be met.
I personally put hatchlings in different enclosures.
Hatchlings should be fed as many ants as they will possibly eat everyday for the first critical 3 months (at least). IMO, this requires feeding small amounts of ants (1-2 per individual hatchling) 24 times per 14-hr day (depending on the prey-acqusition success, appetite, ant stress, and the mental and physivcal health of the hatchling in question).
Drop some ants in. Watch and see if the hatchling eats them. Remove the ants if they are causing undue stress. Repeat every 30 minutes or so.
good luck

: About how many ants do the newborn baby HL's normally eat? Should I seperate the babies from the mother?
: : : I have 3 trios of desert HL's, but I am having troubles breeding them in captivity. Does anyone know how to cycle them and have any useful breeding information?
: : You need to give them a restperiod with reduced lighting and temperatures. Two to three months should be sufficient but I have heard from people hibernating them for 4-5 months without problems.
: : After they have awaken nature should do the rest after some 4-6 weeks mating should begin.
: : The female lays her eggs in a burrow she digs herself (be prepared to see your beautifull setup being bulldozered by the female) After some 8 weeks the eggs should hatch and than you need to get the young to feed. Keep the young somewhat moisterthan the parents because they dehydrate faster due to their size.
