I felt the bottom of the cage where the heat pad is close to. The table (wood) was warm. Not hot, just warm. I got to thinking about the possibility of a fire. Is the heat pad mounted on the bottom of the cage and resting on a wood surface a fire hazard? Has anyone ever had an accidental fire? I haven't seen this addressed and I was hoping to start a safety topic.
